Happy Easter

Thursday 5th and Friday 6th April 2007
I now know that it’s Easter this weekend in England and not last weekend as I’d thought. But to go back to the last entry . . .you can’t beat the system, well not completely anyway. As you’ll see I managed to get the disc in the drive and open Word to cut and paste entries, but none of my pictures would come up when I clicked on them. And again, I had to do all the entries with the blogspot website coming up in Spanish for some reason, despite me going into my normal URL or whatever it’s called. I now feel I can read Spanish pretty well, from what I’ve learned on blogspot! It is very frustrating as I don’t like technology to beat me, but obviously they’ve put in all sorts of administrator passwords that I can’t crack, so I’ll post the pictures for those entries from somewhere else. You’ll just have to imagine towel art for now.
Yesterday we borrowed bikes from the hotel (they were ‘all inclusive’ too) but they were the sort of bikes that don’t have gears and you peddle backwards to break. So although it’s flat around here, we probably only cycled about 15kms as it was such hard work (and so hot). We then flopped on the beach for most of the day, something we’re getting good at. Today started cloudy so we sat around reading for a lot of the day, which was nice. It soon brightened up though and again, hot and mostly sunny. We’ve both revised our view of ‘all inclusives’ – not what what we’d book for just a short holiday but a nice, easy run down towards the end of this long trip. This hotel really is very good, the food, the entertainment and the fact that it costs you absolutely nothing (except internet fees for internet speed a la 1990s) has its attractions
