Lazy Days

Tuesday 13th February
Well yesterday was a bit of a recovery day after all the activity of the weekend. Well for Sid and I, at least. Jake went off to school camp, Sam to School and Carole and Dan to work. Sid and I caught up on washing, shopping etc. in the morning - it's really nice to do normal things here after the past hectic month or so - and then we went to the creek for the afternoon. Sid had gone with Dan on Friday, and I'd intended to, but had decided that having my hair cut was a more necessary task. So we went and had some time on the beach by the creek - very beautiful and lovely calm water to swim in, and read books. Then the rains came. And they came. I can hear your glee from here. When it rains, it really rains, but I have to tell you, it's warm rain.
Today again, even lazier. It rained on and off for most of the day and so we decided to have another 'do nothing' day. Now, don't all go thinking, 'how can they waste their precious time'. It is great to do nothing when we've been so busy. But, if you're reading this you'll realise, I've not really done nothing. I've blogged. That is, I've moved my blog to this site as an experiment as I think it's much 'cleaner', easier to use and easier for you all to access. But the proof of the pudding will be in your responses. Well, I hope it's easier as I've spent most of the day copying it over. I can still continue with the 360 but as I prefer this one, I'll take a vote from you dear readers and then decide.
So, all for now as it's our nightime. I won't be able to see how many of you read this on this site, so you'll just have to let me know. Night Night.

Well having just made a comment saying how much I liked the new blog I am now p...ed off that I have had to go through a whole registration procedure in order to make a 'comment' and all my original typing has disappeared! I guess that's just an initial hiccough though and next time it'll be easier.
New blog is good and for access for the 360 I simply kept your original email (with the web address) in my inbox and clicked there every day to see if there were new postings. So I will do the same for this. Happy with both blogs actually but the look of this new one is rather more professional! Maybe that's why they make the signing in procedures more complicated.....?
Happy hols
Love Jane

Displays the photos much better. I also like the list down the side, but it's rather lurid. I'm not convinced I'll be moving across the blogosphere in order to keep up with the MyraSids just yet.

There is also an irritating box that pops up about secure and insecure info every time I try to do something, but perhaps I'm just complaining to live up to my user name.

Hi, it's me yet again. It certainly is more user friendly in some departments. Despite the fact that I opened my yahoo blog to all and sundry Jane was unable to make a comment on it and it wouldn't even accept her as my friend. The only friend I have there is Pip. Sounds of sobbing.

Well I'm very impressed with new blog, especially as I had done something klutzy with the old one which meant it kept rejecting me when I tried to sign in (yes, forgot username, password, couldn't recognise the secret symbol you're supposed to copy..everything).So like your other blogfan I will just keep your email and click on it when I want to. And we're just recovering from snow - about 6inches in Worcester, so I was happily snowed up last Thursday. All gone by the weekend, but it was proper winter here for a bit. Of course everyone is now blaming stupid councils for allowing schools to close just because there was a sprinkling of snow.....apparently Brum was gridlocked on Friday because of the weather, took hours for people to get out of city centre, abandoned cars everywhere. Just to make you feel even more smug....XX
